Classical Argument
Exordium: do you want your children to not have the desire to go to school? do you want them to feel like there is no hope? With many school system having there budget cut, students are giving up on school. there not paying attention in class which lead to drop outs.
Introduction: many schools are having to cut the amount of money they spend on supplies because they do have the money to buy them. class sizes are getting bigger because teachers are getting cut and there sticking students in classes that are already full. teachers are having to resort to teaching for free because they do not want the students to give up on learning.
Narrative: the issue at hand is the school budget hurting the students more than anything. Just because they have less money it shouldn't be hurting the students. many think that its not, but it is. students don't feel the confidence to stay in school.
Partition: in this paper i'm going to talk about how the school budgets are effecting the students.
Confirmation: i have many sources that explain how the budget is effect students and also how the parents are worried about it

Four Stasis Questions
1. did it happen?
my issue is about the school system and how it is affecting the students ability to be in school. also, how the students are feeling about having to be in classes where the attention that they need are not being met by the teachers.
2. what kind of event is it?
the kind of event is that the overcrowding is having a great impact on how the students are preforming in the classes.
3. how serious?
this issue is very serious because a lot of students are just giving up because they don't get the help that they need. parents are also concerned because they have smaller children in school and are afraid that if they don't get the right help they will not do good in school.
4. what should be done?
even if the economy is going downhill, education should not be effected because it is not the students fault.
Disagreements
The point in where disagreement might begin is that when students go to college, they will be in better class sizes. it is up to the student to go to there teacher whenever they can and ask for the help that they need. if the student needs help they need to go out there way and get the help they need and not blame it on the teacher.
Theoretical Question

Summarizing Sources #2
In this article, it talks about parents
having concerns about the amount of students there is in one classroom. A
parent is complaining about how her child is not receiving the one on one
attention that she needs. The more schools that are being closed the more
students that will then be put into the classrooms and the fewer students that
need the one and one attention will get the right help.
In this article, it states that a cyber
-school is being cut. The reason that the cyber schools are being cut is
because it is not producing the right results as it was intended to. Ever since
it was open it was never doing what the school thought it would do.
In this article, it states the amount of
money is being cut from the budget. The biggest target it being made in the
education. There has been about 3,000
teacher layoffs throughout Pennsylvania, with the additional 2,000 not being
filled in. again, this article says with the more teacher layoff there will be
more students in each class and less teachers aids.
This article talks about the positive things
that happen when extra curriculum activities are being added to schools. They have
stats stating that these students that are doing something they like doing the
school year have scored higher in standardized testing, such as the SAT’s. More
students are being recognized for academic achievements
This article is about parents trying to
fundraise enough money to put back into the school budget for their children’s
education. Parents are very concerned
about the way the children are going to be able to learn in bigger size
classrooms, there scared that education is just going downhill. There has been
a loss of teachers but a gain of students.

Cynthia Barona issue to explore
The issue I would like to explore is budget cuts in school districts. There has been school closings and students being put into schools and has created an over crowding. Also, the teacher cuts have not been helping because with more students in the schools there's not enough teachers to equal the amount of students in the school. I would like to explore the issue by doing research within the school budget and seeing where the money is going and maybe writing lettering to the school board to see what they've been doing to help bring back some of the teachers and keep more schools open.
